Fight Theatre is a ground shaking artistic movement led by José Pérez IV in which the influences of rock and roll, martial arts, anime, and storytelling seamlessly join together to create new, original theatre pieces.
Fight Theatre is named such primarily because of its vehement utilization of stage combat, but also because the movement focuses on fighting against that which suppresses our true human potential in this modern day: convenience, apathy, fear of contact, and the replacement of the human experience with technology. This theatre embraces the attention grabbing techniques of cable TV and blockbusters while weaving in our love of lost traditions and storytelling.
